2nd LT. Peter Cone
2nd Florida Cavalry

Peter Cone moved to Nassau Co after Civil War. The rest of his brothers stayed in NW Columbia County and White Springs, Hamilton County, Florida. He was a lumber man like his father. His mother, Sarah Haddock Cone, was originally from Nassau County and lived with Peter and his family after the Civil War. The Haddocks were lumbermen also in Nassau County.
